MCM Comic Con 2014

Ill be honest, this years convention was a bit of a mixed bag.
Friday was great. I met up with Louise and Phil and got sorted out in their hotel room. I went as the Tenth Doctor, but once I got to the venue I decided to ditch the coat since it was stupidly hot but I was still armed with my sonic and a banana (bananas are good, you should always take a banana to a party).
I didnt take too long to get through the queue and it was still relatively quiet enough for us to walk around and get a good look at the stalls. By the afternoon it was pretty packed though, and started to get a bit too much.

Comic Con Tomorrow!

The London MCM Comic Con is tomorrow, and Ten is ready!

What on earth have I got myself into!!
I've started a vague attempt at a Winter Soldier costume, and i have no idea what i am doing!
I've started adjusting a corset that I already had by adding on some straps and details, which im going to wear over a black turtleneck.


The arm is proving tricky though.
ive got as far as making a plaster mould, but from here i dont really know what to do. Ive seen some brilliant ones made from craft foam and worbla, maybe thats the way to go? Or just go for paint. Paint i can handle!

Anyway, making the plaster cast was fun even if i dont end up using it!

At the end of each football season we have a fancy dress day at work, so naturally I went for the Eleventh Doctor.
Literally no-one knew who I was supposed to be, and thought I was Tommy Cooper because of the fez.
Bloody heathens and their lack of Who-knowledge!
